The International British Academy(IBA) provides high quality British education to children of all nationalities between the ages of 3 and 16. The school follows a modified programme of studies based on the National Curriculum of England and Wales to take into account Philippine culture and the national language.
The British educational system starts from Foundation Stage and proceeds to Year-1 until Year-13, the first 11 year levels are equivalent to 7 years of primary schooling and 4 years of secondary schooling in the Philippine system. At the end of year 11, students may take the General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) examinations.
It has been the strategy of IBA to employ local teachers where possible. Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) is required from all applicants. A strict selection criteria, focused on academic qualifications, subject area expertise and experience, is used to ensure hiring of highly qualified and well experienced teaching staff.
The International British Academy caters to children ages 3+ to 16. Families wishing to send their children to IBA are requested to fill out the Application Form and pay the reservation Fee(Php 2,500) as early as possible, and no later than May of the coming school year to ensure space for your children.
